"Elbebrücke" – Riesa, Germany

The bridge over the river Elbe in Riesa in Germany dates from 1839. The bridge is a combination of a road and rail bridge, connecting Lеipzig and Drezden. It has the length of 346.6m and the longest span of 101.4m. The long structure of this bridge is composed of steel truss with six openings. Its steel structure was composed of a mass of 1 900t of steel and set with the help of derricks. The main girders are connected by anchor bolts and a reinforced concrete slab.
